Ann Boija

Senior Vice President, Head of Research Dewpoint Therapeutics

Ann Boija leads Research at Dewpoint, overseeing a diverse portfolio of programs across multiple disease areas, including oncology, neurology, cardiology, and metabolic disease, all anchored in condensate science. She is passionate about building and empowering high-performing teams to drive innovation, foster deep scientific collaboration, and deliver meaningful impact.

Ann is a recognized leader in gene control, disease biology, and condensate science and has been instrumental in translating foundational science into therapeutic opportunities. Her research helped uncover how phase separation of transcription factors regulates gene expression and how anti-cancer drugs partition into condensates, seminal findings that have opened new therapeutic possibilities for previously inaccessible targets. She has authored numerous high-impact publications, holds multiple patents, and is an award-winning speaker.

She holds an M.S. in Biomedical Sciences and a Ph.D. in Biology from Stockholm University and completed her postdoctoral training at the Whitehead Institute of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Outside of work, Ann enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with her husband and two children.
